SOW (Asia) Foundation Ltd. (SOW Asia) is a charitable organization under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance, Hong Kong SAR. Our mission is to invest in organizations and individuals intent on creating sustainable, positive social / environmental impact on a self-sustaining basis. In 5 years we have 3 portfolio companies (China and Hong Kong) and vetted over 200 deals. We use a blended model of venture philanthropy and impact investing to fill the gap between grants & commercial capital. Working with today’s visionary entrepreneurs, we provide resources and effective business strategies to help alleviate poverty, and tackle some of the world’s most profound challenges in the areas of healthcare, education and the environment. We seek to work collaboratively with different kinds of donors, individuals and support organizations to elicit the most promising solutions that can make a difference.
