The ring sensor contains an optical sensor unit and an RF transmitter connected to a micro-computer in the ring itself. This ensures onsite data acquisition, filtering, signal processing, and bi-directional RF communications with a smartphone that can access a website/smartphone for data acquisition and clinical diagnosis.
