Having started 3dtupo.com 6 months ago, we are readying 3dtupoEX.com, an e-marketplace of 3D Printing premium consumer products, linking designers worldwide with consumers; initially targeting China-Asia. We plan to start in early 2015 with 10+ designers offering 100+ products: jewelry, fashion accessories, home decor and arts&crafts, emphasizing personalization & customization, merchandising and marketing both online and offline. We get a discount from designers selling at the same price, keeping no inventory as 3DP is "manufacturing on demand". Our biz model is highly scalable: planning to offer up to 1000+ products with revenues reaching US$100m+ in 4-5 years subject to successive rounds of funding. We believe 3DP is at a nascent state, developing quickly in the next 2-3 years as a result of rapid technological changes in 3DP. We have now more than 1.5 dozen designers agreeing to collaborate with us subject to MOU.
